When planning, we started by walking through the gallery and deciding how our story could potentially help fill the space. The yarn and nail art depicting an idea of detail, patterns, and alignment became the answer for that need. Syzygy is the only word in the Oxford dictionary that contains three y’s, and its definition, "the alignment of three celestial bodies," gave us the right solution. We each were in charge of different aspects of the design at first, but by the end each one of us contributed to every aspect of the show. We were all proud to look back on successful designs from our college years, and we were especially happy to come together and help create something beautiful.
